Man asks, "When I am once dead, shall I be raised to life?" 66 Doth not man remember that We created him before, when he was naught? 67 So by your Lord, We will surely gather them and the devils; then We will bring them to be present around Hell upon their knees. 68 We shall then pick out from every group the one who was most arrogant towards the Most Gracious. 69 We surely know best those most deserving of the fires of hell, 70 Not one of you there is, but he shall go down to it; that for thy Lord is a thing decreed, determined. 71 We shall deliver those who took heed for themselves, and leave the evil-doers kneeling there. 72 When Our clear revelations are recited to them, those who deny the truth say to the faithful, "Which of the two sides is better in respect of position and makes a more impressive assembly?" 73 How many generations of greater prosperity and splendor have We destroyed before them? 74 Say thou: whosoever is in error - surely unto him the Compassionate lengtheneth a length, until when they behold that wherewith they were threatened, either the torment or the Hour, then they shall come to know whosoever is worse in position and weaker as an army. 75 And Allah increases those who were guided, in guidance, and the enduring good deeds are better to your Lord for reward and better for recourse. 76 So have you seen him who denied Our signs and says, “I shall certainly be given wealth and children?” 77 Hath he looked unto the Unseen, or hath he taken of the Compassionate a covenant? 78 By no means! We shall write down that which he saith; and We shall lengthen for him of the torment a length. 79 And it is We only Who shall inherit what he says (belongs to him), and he will come to Us, alone. 80 And they have taken (for worship) gods other than Allah, to give them power and glory! 81 Instead, they shall reject their worship, and become adversaries against them. 82
