The People of the Woods denied the Noble Messengers. 176 Behold, Shu'aib said to them: "Will ye not fear (Allah)? 177 Surely I am a faithful apostle to you; 178 "So fear Allah, keep your duty to Him, and obey me. 179 I ask no recompense of you for this. My reward is due from none but the Lord of all the worlds. 180 ۞ Give full measure and do not cheat; 181 and weigh with the straight scale, 182 do not defraud people of what is rightfully theirs; and do not spread corruption in the land. 183 And keep your duty unto Him Who created you and the generations of the men of old. 184 They said: You are only of those deluded; 185 You are only a human being like ourselves. Indeed we think you are a liar. 186 “Therefore cause a part of the sky to fall upon us, if you are of the truthful.” 187 Shuayb said: "My Lord knows well all what you do." 188 But they belied him, so the torment of the day of shadow (a gloomy cloud) seized them, indeed that was the torment of a Great Day. 189 Verily in this was a sign, but most of them do not believe. 190 Verily Your Lord is Immensely Mighty, Most Compassionate. 191
