Now, behold, this [divine writ] has indeed been bestowed from on high by the Sustainer of all the worlds: 192 which the truthful spirit has carried down 193 upon your heart (Prophet Muhammad), in order to be one of the warners, 194 in the clear Arabic tongue. 195 And verily it is in the Scriptures of the ancients. 196 And was this not a sign for them, that the scholars of the Descendants of Israel may recognise this Prophet? 197 And had We revealed it unto any of the non-Arabs, 198 and had he recited it unto them [in his own tongue,] they would not have believed in it. 199 This is how We have made (the habit of) denying embedded in the hearts of the guilty. 200 They will not believe in it until they see the painful punishment. 201 And it shall come to them all of a sudden, while they shall not perceive; 202 Then they will say: are we to be respited? 203 Do they want to hasten Our punishment? 204 Seest thou? If We do let them enjoy (this life) for a few years, 205 and then the chastisement of which they were being warned were to come upon them, 206 what will it then avail them, the enjoyment of days they were given? 207 Never have We destroyed a town without sending down messengers to warn it, 208 By way of admonition, and We have never been oppressors. 209 And this Qur’an was not brought down by the devils. 210 they are not supposed to do so. Nor do have they the ability for such a task. 211 Truly, they are expelled from hearing. 212 So call not on any other god with Allah, or thou wilt be among those under the Penalty. 213 And warn [whomever thou canst reach, beginning with] thy kinsfolk, 214 And lower thy wing (in kindness) unto those believers who follow thee. 215 If they disobey you, tell them, "I condemn your disobedient deeds". 216 And put your trust in Him Who is Immensely Mighty, Most Compassionate, 217 Who watches you when you get up, 218 And your turning over and over among those who prostrate themselves before Allah. 219 Indeed only He is the All Hearing, the All Knowing. 220 Shall I inform you upon whom do the devils descend? 221 They descend upon every sinful liar. 222 who readily lend ear [to every falsehood,] and most of whom lie to others as well. 223 As for the poets, the erring follow them, 224 Do you not see that they wander about in every valley 225 preaching what they do not practice. 226 Except those who believe, and do good works and remember Allah in abundance and became victorious after they had been wronged. The wrongdoers will surely know which turn they will be returning to (Hell). 227
Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.

قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
