Truly it is only associating others with Allah in His divinity that Allah does not forgive, and forgives anything besides that to whomsoever He wills. Whoever associates others with Allah in His divinity has indeed strayed far away. 116 They call upon instead of Him none but female [deities], and they [actually] call upon none but a rebellious Satan. 117 He said, 'Assuredly I will take unto myself a portion appointed of Thy servants, 118 And I will mislead them, and I will arouse in them [sinful] desires, and I will command them so they will slit the ears of cattle, and I will command them so they will change the creation of Allah." And whoever takes Satan as an ally instead of Allah has certainly sustained a clear loss. 119 Satan makes them promises, and creates in them false desires; but satan's promises are nothing but deception. 120 These: their resort shall be Hell, and they shall not find therefrom an escape. 121 Yet those who attain to faith and do righteous deeds We shall bring into gardens through which running waters flow, therein to abide beyond the count of time: this is, in truth, God's promise - and whose word could be truer than God's? 122 Paradise is not [obtained] by your wishful thinking nor by that of the People of the Scripture. Whoever does a wrong will be recompensed for it, and he will not find besides Allah a protector or a helper. 123 And whoever does righteous deeds, whether male or female, while being a believer - those will enter Paradise and will not be wronged, [even as much as] the speck on a date seed. 124 Whose way is better than that of the man who has submitted to God, and does good, and who follows the creed of Abraham the upright? And God chose Abraham as friend. 125 And to Allah only belongs all whatever is in the heavens and all whatever is in the earth; and Allah has control over all things. 126
