This surely is a revelation from the Lord of the Universe: 192 The honest Spirit (Gabriel) brought it down 193 Upon your heart, for you to convey warning. 194 It has been revealed in plain Arabic. 195 Surely, it is foretold in the ancient scriptures. 196 Is it not a Sign to them that the Learned of the Children of Israel knew it (as true)? 197 And had We revealed it unto any of the non-Arabs, 198 and he had recited it to them, they would not have believed in it. 199 This is how We have made (the habit of) denying embedded in the hearts of the guilty. 200 They will not believe therein until they behold the torment afflictive. 201 It will come upon them suddenly when they are not expecting it. 202 Then they will say: Shall we be respited? 203 Do they want to hasten Our punishment? 204 Have you then considered if We let them enjoy themselves for years, 205 Yet there comes to them at length the (Punishment) which they were promised! 206 what will it then avail them, the enjoyment of days they were given? 207 Never a city We destroyed, but it had warners 208 for a reminder, and We never harmed. 209 The devils did not bring it down: 210 And it behoves them not, and they have not the power to do (it). 211 verily, [even] from hearing it are they utterly debarred! 212 So invoke not with Allah another ilah (god) lest you be among those who receive punishment. 213 And warn thou thy clan, the nearest ones. 214 and be meek to the believers who follow you. 215 Then if they disobey you, say: "I am innocent of what you do." 216 And put your trust in the All-Mighty, the Most Merciful, 217 who sees you when you stand up [for prayer], 218 And your turning over and over among those who prostrate themselves before Allah. 219 He is All-hearing and All-knowing." 220 Shall I inform you, (O people!), on whom it is that the evil ones descend? 221 They descend on every great accuser, extreme sinner. (The magicians) 222 They incline their ears, and most of them are liars. 223 Poets are followed by the perverse. 224 Hast thou not seen how they stray in every valley, 225 And that they say that which they do not do, 226 Except those who believe, work righteousness, engage much in the remembrance of Allah, and defend themselves only after they are unjustly attacked. And soon will the unjust assailants know what vicissitudes their affairs will take! 227
God Almighty has spoken the truth.

When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
