The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)
In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate
I CALL TO witness the chargers, snorting, rushing to battle before the others, 1 sparks of fire striking, 2 then raid by the dawn, 3 thereby raising clouds of dust, 4 Penetrating deep into the armies, 5 The human being is certainly ungrateful to his Lord. 6 And is himself witness to it, 7 And violent is he in his love of wealth. 8 ۞ Is he not aware of the time when the contents of the graves will be brought out? 9 and that which is in the breasts is brought out -- 10 Surely on that Day will their Lord be fully informed about them. 11
Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
