VERILY, those who are conscious of God [shall find themselves in the hereafter] amidst gardens and springs, 45 (And it is said unto them): Enter them in peace, secure. 46 And We have removed any resentments which were in their breasts – they are brothers, sitting face to face on thrones. 47 There no sense of fatigue shall touch them, nor shall they (ever) be asked to leave. 48 ۞ (O Prophet), declare to My servants that I am indeed Ever Forgiving, Most Merciful. 49 At the same time, My chastisement is highly painful. 50 And inform them of Ibrahim’s guests. 51 When they came to Abraham they said: "Peace be upon you!" He replied: "Indeed we feel afraid of you." 52 They said, "Do not be afraid. We come to you with good news. You shall have a son who shall be endowed with great knowledge." 53 He said: Bring ye me good tidings (of a son) when old age hath overtaken me? Of what then can ye bring good tidings? 54 They said, "We have given you good tidings in truth, so do not be of the despairing." 55 He said: And who despaireth of the mercy of his Lord save those who are astray? 56 Messengers, what is your task?" 57 They answered: "We are sent to people lost in sin [who are to be destroyed,] 58 “Except the family of Lut; we shall rescue all of them.” 59 except his wife. We have decreed that she will be among those who remain behind [and will be lost]. 60
