And We indeed did a great favour to Moosa and Haroon. 114 And We delivered them and their people from (their) Great Calamity; 115 and We helped them, so that they were victorious; 116 And We gave them the clear Scripture; 117 And We guided them on the straight path. 118 And We left (this blessing) for them among generations (to come) in later times: 119 "Peace be upon Moses and Aaron!" 120 This is how We reward the virtuous. 121 they were among Our believing servants. 122 And indeed, Elias was from among the messengers, 123 when he said to his people, 'Will you not be godfearing? 124 Will you invoke Baal and forsake [God,] the best of artisans 125 God, your Sustainer and the Sustainer of your forebears of old?" 126 They denied him, and will surely be brought to punishment, 127 Except the bondmen of Allah sincere. 128 and We left for him among the later folk 129 Peace be upon Elias. 130 In this way do We reward the righteous ones. 131 He is indeed one of Our high ranking, firmly believing bondmen. 132 So also was Lut among those sent (by Us). 133 Wherefore We saved him and his entire family 134 except an old woman who was among those that stayed behind; 135 Then We destroyed the others. 136 Verily, ye pass by their (sites), by day- 137 and at night.
