No! By the moon 32 By the receding night 33 And by the Dawn as it shineth forth,- 34 surely it is one of the greatest things 35 it is a warning to man, 36 To any of you that chooses to go forward (by working righteous deeds), or to remain behind (by commiting sins), 37 Every soul is held in pledge against its own deeds, 38 Except the companions of the right, 39 who shall be in the Gardens, and shall ask 40 concerning the sinners, 41 "What has brought you into the Fire of Hell ?" 42 They said, “We never used to offer the prayer.” 43 we fed not the needy, 44 And we used to enter into vain discourse with those who entered into vain discourses. 45 and we gave the lie to the Day of Judgement 46 Until there came to us the certainty." 47 Then the intercession of the intercessors shall not profit them. 48 Then what is the matter with them that they turn away from admonition?- 49 As if they were frightened (wild) donkeys. 50 Fleeing from a hunter, or a lion, or a beast of prey. 51 Nay, everyone of them desires that he should be given pages spread out (coming from Allah with a writing that Islam is the right religion, and Muhammad SAW has come with the truth from Allah the Lord of the heavens and earth, etc.). 52 No indeed; the truth is that they have no fear of the Hereafter. 53 Yes indeed, this is an advice. 54 and whoever wills may take it to heart. 55 But they will not benefit from it unless Allah Himself so wills. He is worthy to be feared; and He is worthy to forgive (those that fear Him). 56
