Do you not see that We have sent the Shaitans against the unbelievers, inciting them by incitement? 83 Therefore, do not hasten (things) against them, for We count out to them a number, 84 On the Day We will gather the righteous to the Most Merciful as a delegation 85 And shall drive the culprits to Hell as a herd. 86 People do not own the right to intercede, except those* who have made a covenant with the Most Gracious. (* The Holy Prophets and virtuous people will be given the permission to intercede. Prophet Mohammed – peace and blessings be upon him – will be the first to intercede.) 87 And they say: The Beneficent hath taken unto Himself a son. 88 Certainly you have made an abominable assertion 89 At it the skies are ready to burst, the earth to split asunder, and the mountains to fall down in utter ruin, 90 That they ascribe a son to the Beneficent Allah. 91 It does not befit the Most Compassionate Lord that He should take a son. 92 There is none in the heavens and the earth but cometh unto the Beneficent as a slave. 93 He has indeed counted them, and He has numbered them exactly. 94 Every one of them will come before Him all alone on the Day of Resurrection. 95 The Lord of Mercy will bestow affection upon those who believe and perform righteous deeds. 96 and only to this end have We made this [divine writ] easy to understand, in thine own tongue, [O Prophet,] so that thou might convey thereby a glad tiding to the God-conscious, and warn thereby those who are given to [futile] contention: 97 But how many (countless) generations before them have We destroyed? Canst thou find a single one of them (now) or hear (so much as) a whisper of them? 98
