The Arrangers (Al-Saaffaat)
In the name of God, The Most Gracious, The Dispenser of Grace
I swear by (the angels) who stand in ranks, 1 and the drivers driving, 2 and those who recite Our revelations, 3 surely, your God is One, 4 Lord of the heavens and of the earth and all between them, and Lord of every point at the rising of the sun! 5 We have indeed decked the lower heaven with beauty (in) the stars,- 6 And (there is) a safeguard against every rebellious Shaitan. 7 they cannot overhear the Higher Assembly for they are pelted from every side, 8 They are rejected and theirs is an everlasting punishment; 9 And if any is able to snatch a fragment, he is pursued by a piercing flame. 10 AND NOW ask those [who deny the truth] to enlighten thee: Were they more difficult to create than all those [untold marvels] that We have created? - for, behold, them have We created out of [mere] clay commingled with water! 11 Aye! thou marvellest, and they scoff. 12 They pay no attention when they are reminded 13 and, when they see a sign, would scoff; 14 And say: "This is only magic. 15 "What! when we die, and become dust and bones, shall we (then) be raised up (again) 16 And our fathers too?" 17 Say thou: "Yea, and ye shall then be humiliated (on account of your evil)." 18 There is but one Shout, and lo! they behold, 19 And they shall say: O woe to us! this is the day of requital. 20 [And they will be told:] "This is the Day of Distinction [between the true and the false - the Day] which you were wont to call a lie!" 21
