The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate
۞ EXTOL the limitless glory of thy Sustainer's name: [the glory of] the Al-Highest, 1 who created and shaped, 2 And Who makes (things) according to a measure, then guides (them to their goal), 3 who brought forth the pasturage 4 then made it a blackening wrack. 5 We shall make you recite and then you will not forget, 6 save what God may will [thee to forget] - for, verily, He [alone] knows all that is open to [man's] perception as well as all that is hidden [from it] 7 And We will ease you toward ease. 8 So remind, if the reminder should benefit; 9 The reminder will be received by him who fears (Allah), 10 but it will be ignored by the most unfortunate, 11 [He] who will [enter and] burn in the greatest Fire, 12 In which they will then neither die nor live. 13 He who purified himself shall prosper, 14 And who remembereth the name of his Lord, and then prayeth. 15 Nay (behold), ye prefer the life of this world; 16 Whereas the Hereafter is better and everlasting. 17 Indeed, this is in the former scriptures, 18 the Scrolls of Abraham and Moses. 19
