Al-Aadeyaat
The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)
In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful
By the chargers panting, 1 sparks of fire striking, 2 by the dawn-raiders 3 Raising clouds of dust, 4 Penetrating deep into the armies, 5 Verily man is unto his Lord ungrateful. 6 And indeed he himself is a witness to it. 7 He certainly has a strong love for wealth and riches. 8 ۞ But does he not know that when the contents of the graves are scattered 9 And that which is (locked up) in (human) breasts is made manifest- 10 Surely their Lord will be aware of their (deeds). 11
God Almighty has spoken the truth.
