One day We shall call together all human beings with their (respective) Imams: those who are given their record in their right hand will read it (with pleasure), and they will not be dealt with unjustly in the least. 71 And whosoever hath been in this life blind will in the Hereafter be blind, and far astray from the way. 72 AND behold, they [who have gone astray] endeavour to tempt thee away from all [the truth] with which We have inspired thee, [O Prophet,] with a view to making thee invent something else in Our name - in which case they would surely have made thee their friend! 73 And had it not been that We had already established you, you would certainly have been near to incline to them a little; 74 And if it were*, We would then have made you taste a double life and a double death – you would then not find any supporter against Us. (* Which is impossible.) 75 Indeed they were near to startling thee from the land, to expel thee from it, and then they would have tarried after thee only a little -- 76 (This was Our) way with the messengers We sent before thee: thou wilt find no change in Our ways. 77
