Warnings also came to the Pharaonites, 41 They, too, rejected all Our signs. So We seized them with the seizure of One Mighty, Omnipotent. 42 What, are your unbelievers better than those? Or have you an immunity in the Scrolls? 43 Do they say, "We shall be victorious because we are united?" 44 Anon will their multitude be vanquished, and they will turn the back. 45 But the Hour is their appointment [for due punishment], and the Hour is more disastrous and more bitter. 46 Surely the guilty are in error and distress. 47 On the Day when they shall be dragged into the fire on their faces, [they will be told:] "Taste now the touch of hell-fire!" 48 We have created everything in a determined measure. 49 And Our commandment is but one (commandment), as the twinkling of an eye. 50 And verily We have destroyed your fellows; but is there any that remembereth? 51 And everything they have wrought is in the Writs. 52 And everything, small and big is written (in Al-Lauh Al-Mahfuz already beforehand i.e. before it befalls, or is done by its doer) (See the Quran V. 57:22). 53 Indeed, the righteous will be among gardens and rivers, 54 in a sure abode, in the presence of a King Omnipotent. 55
