He Frowned ('Abasa)
42 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Stars (Al-Najm) before Destiny (Al-Qadr)
In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful
۞ He frowned and turned away. 1 Because the blind man had come in his august presence. 2 What made you think that he will not grow in virtue, 3 Or be admonished, and the admonition profit him? 4 But the self-sufficient, 5 you eagerly attended to him -- 6 What does it matter to you if he will not become pure (from disbelief, you are only a Messenger, your duty is to convey the Message of Allah). 7 But as for him who cometh unto thee with earnest purpose 8 And he feareth 9 Of him you are neglectful and divert your attention to another, 10 By no means! Verily it is an admonition. 11 So let whosoever will pay heed to it, 12 [It is recorded] in honored sheets, 13 Exalted and purified, 14 [borne] by the hands of messengers 15 Noble and pious. 16 Woe to man! How ungrateful he is! 17 From what thing did He create him? 18 From a drop of seed. He createth him and proportioneth him, 19 Then maketh the way easy for him, 20 Then gave him death, so had him put in the grave. 21 Then when He listeth, He shall raise him to life. 22 Nay, but (man) has not done what He commanded him. 23 Then let man look at his food, (and how We provide it): 24 We send down abundant water, 25 Then split the earth in clefts 26 Then We cause therein the grain to grow, 27 and grape vines and vegetables, 28 And olives and date palms, 29 thickly planted gardens, 30 and fruit and pastures, 31 for you and for your herds to delight in. 32 But when the deafening blast is sounded, 33 On the Day whereon a man shall flee from his brother, 34 And his mother and his father, 35 his consort, his sons, 36 For every one of them on that Day shall be business enough to occupy 37 Some faces that Day, will be bright (true believers of Islamic Monotheism). 38 laughing, joyous; 39 And many a face will be covered with dust on that day. 40 Covered with the blackness (of shame): 41 They will be the unbelievers, transgressors. 42
True are the words of God the Almighty.

When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
