And certainly We lodged the children of Israel in a goodly abode and We provided them with good things; but they did not disagree until the knowledge had come to them; surely your Lord will judge between them on the resurrection day concerning that in which they disagreed. 93 But if you are in doubt as to what We have revealed to you, ask those who read the Book before you; certainly the truth has come to you from your Lord, therefore you should not be of the disputers. 94 And you should not be of those who reject the communications of Allah, (for) then you should be one of the losers. 95 Those against whom your Lord's word has been confirmed will never believe; 96 Though every sign should come to them, until they witness the painful chastisement. 97 Why was there not a single township (among those We warned), which believed,- so its faith should have profited it,- except the people of Jonah? When they believed, We removed from them the penalty of ignominy in the life of the present, and permitted them to enjoy (their life) for a while. 98 And if thy Lord willed, all who are in the earth would have believed together. Wouldst thou (Muhammad) compel men until they are believers? 99 notwithstanding that no human being can ever attain to faith otherwise than by God's leave, and [that] it is He who lays the loathsome evil [of disbelief] upon those who will not use - their reason? 100 Say: Behold what is in the heavens and the earth! But revelations and warnings avail not folk who will not believe. 101 Can they expect anything but what the people before them had known? Say: "Then wait. I am waiting with you." 102 Thus do We deliver our apostles and those who believe. As a matter of duty We save the believers. 103
