We certainly bestowed Our favor upon Moses and Aaron 114 And delivered them and their people from the great affliction. 115 We succoured them, and they gained the upper hand (against their enemies). 116 And We gave them the clear Scripture 117 And We guided them both on the right way. 118 And We kept their praise among the latter generations. 119 Peace be with Moses and Aaron. 120 Even thus do We reward the doers of good. 121 for those two were truly among Our believing servants. 122 AND, BEHOLD, Elijah [too] was indeed one of Our message-bearers 123 When he said to his people: "Will you not fear Allah? 124 Call ye upon Bal and forsake the Best of creators. 125 God, your Lord, and the Lord of your fathers, the ancients?' 126 But they denied him, so they surely will be haled forth (to the doom) 127 Save single-minded slaves of Allah. 128 and We left for him among the later folk 129 "Peace upon Elias." 130 Lo! thus do We reward the good. 131 Verily he was one of Our bondmen believing. 132 And Lot too was one of the Messengers. 133 When We rescued him and his entire household. 134 except for an old woman who was among those that stayed behind. 135 Then We destroyed the rest. 136 Verily, ye pass by their (sites), by day- 137 and in the night; will you not understand? 138
