Al-Hijjr 2 of 6

And indeed We created towers in the skies, and beautified it for the beholders. 16 We have protected them from every condemned devil, 17 Except the ones who listen on the sly, yet they are chased away by a shooting flame. 18 And the earth We spread out, and placed therein firm mountains, and caused to grow therein all kinds of things in due proportion. 19 And created livelihoods for you in it, and created those for whom you do not provide the sustenance. 20 And there is not a thing but with Us are the treasures of it, and We do not send it down but in a known measure. 21 And We loose the winds fertilising, and We send down out of heaven water, then We give it to you to drink, and you are not its treasurers. 22 And verily, it is We Who give life, and Who give death: it is We Who remain inheritors (after all else passes away). 23 To Us are known those of you who hasten forward, and those who lag behind. 24 It is your Lord who will gather them. He is all wise and all knowing. 25
