The Arrangers (Al-Saaffaat)
In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate
By the angels ranged in ranks. 1 And so are strong in repelling (evil), 2 By the angels reciting the praise. 3 your God is One, 4 The Lord of the heavens and the earth and all that lies between them, and the Lord of the Easts. 5 Behold, We have adorned the skies nearest to the earth with the beauty of stars, 6 And to protect it from every rebellious devil. 7 So that they are not able to listen to the angels of higher (echelons), and are pelted from all sides 8 To make them flee, and for them is a never-ending punishment. 9 Some of them who stealthily steal words from the heavens are pursued by a glistening flame. 10 Just ask their opinion: are they the more difficult to create, or the (other) beings We have created? Them have We created out of a sticky clay! 11 Truly dost thou marvel, while they ridicule, 12 And when they are reminded, they pay no attention. 13 And when they see a sign they incite one another to scoff, 14 And they say, “This is nothing but clear magic.” 15 What, when we are dead and become dust and bones, shall we be resurrected. 16 And our fathers too?" 17 Say, "You will certainly be brought back to life in disgrace". 18 There will be but a single blast and then their eyes will open. 19 and they say, 'Woe, alas for us! This is the Day of Doom.' 20 'This is the Day of Decision, even that you cried lies to. 21
