Forgiver (Ghaafer)
In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful
۞ HaMeem. 1 The revelation of the Book is from Allah, the Mighty, the Knower. 2 Forgiver of trespasses, acceptor of repentance, severe of retribution, lord of power. There is no god but He. Towards Him is your destination. 3 Only the unbelievers dispute the revelations of God. So do not let their activities in the land deceive you. 4 The people of Noah had denied before them, and many factions after them. Every nation has intrigued against its apostle and afflicted him, and argued with false arguments to condemn the truth. Then I seized them. How was then My retribution! 5 And thus hath the Word of thy Lord been justified on those who disbelieve: that they shall be the fellows of the Fire. 6 Those (angels) who bear the Throne (of Allah) and those around it glorify the praises of their Lord, and believe in Him, and ask forgiveness for those who believe (in the Oneness of Allah) (saying): "Our Lord! You comprehend all things in mercy and knowledge, so forgive those who repent and follow Your Way, and save them from the torment of the blazing Fire! 7 Our Lord! make them enter the Everlasting Gardens which Thou hast promised them, and also such of their fathers and their spouses and their offspring as verify Thou: Thou art the Mighty, the Wise. 8 Protect them from evil; and whosoever You preserve from evil on that Day shall have surely received Your mercy. This will be the great triumph." 9
