Hast thou not regarded those who dispute concerning the signs of God, how they are turned about? 69 Those who cry lies to the Book and that wherewith We sent Our Messengers -- soon they will know! 70 When iron collars will be rounded over their necks, and the chains, they shall be dragged along. 71 In the boiling fetid fluid: then in the Fire shall they be burned; 72 It will then be said to them: “Where are those whom you 73 "In derogation of Allah?" They will reply: "They have left us in the lurch: Nay, we invoked not, of old, anything (that had real existence)." Thus does Allah leave the Unbelievers to stray. 74 That is because ye had been exulting in the earth without right, and because ye had been strutting. 75 “Enter the gates of hell, to remain in it forever”; so what a wretched destination for the haughty! 76 So be thou patient; surely God's promise is true. Whether We show thee a part of that We promise them, or We call thee unto Us, to Us they shall be returned. 77 We sent Messengers before thee; of some We have related to thee, and some We have not related to thee. It was not for any Messenger to bring a sign, save by God's leave. When God's command comes, justly the issue shall be decided; then the vain-doers shall be lost. 78
