And when your Lord called out to Musa, saying: Go to the unjust people, 10 The people of Fir'aun (Pharaoh). Will they not fear Allah and become righteous?" 11 He said, 'My Lord, I fear they will cry me lies, 12 My heart is constrained, my tongue falters, so delegate Aaron; 13 "And they have a charge of crime against me, and I fear they will kill me." 14 Allah said: "By no means! proceed then, both of you, with Our Signs; We are with you, and will listen (to your call). 15 Then come to Firon and say: Surely we are the apostles of the Lord of the worlds: 16 let the Children of Israel go with us!'" 17 Fir'awn said: brought we not thee up amongst us as a child? And thou tarriedst amongst us for many years of thy life? 18 “And you committed the deed of yours that you committed, and you were ungrateful.” 19 Said Moosa, “I did that at a time when I was unaware of the consequences.” (In anger See verse 28:15) 20 and I fled from you because I feared you. But [since] then my Sustainer has endowed me with the ability to judge [between right and wrong,] and has made me one of [His] message-bearers. 21 And [as for] that favour of which thou so tauntingly remindest me - [was it not] due to thy having enslaved the children of Israel?" 22 Said Firaun, “And what is the Lord Of The Creation? 23 [Moses] answered: "[He is] the Sustainer of the heavens and the earth and all that is between them: if you would but [allow yourselves to] be convinced!" 24 Fir'aun (Pharaoh) said to those around: "Do you not hear (what he says)?" 25 (Moses continued): "Your Lord and the Lord of your fathers before you." 26 (The Pharaoh) said (to his nobles): "Your apostle who has been sent to you, is certainly mad." 27 (Moses) said: "Lord of the East and the West, and all between! if ye only had sense!" 28 (Pharaoh) said: "If thou dost put forward any god other than me, I will certainly put thee in prison!" 29 Moses asked, "What if I were to bring you clear proof (of the existence of God)?" 30 He (Pharaoh) replied: 'Show us your sign, if you are of the truthful' 31 He cast down his staff and thereupon it was a clear serpent. 32 And he drew out his hand; thereupon it was white for the observers. 33
