Say: "Truly am I a Warner: no god is there but the one Allah, Supreme and Irresistible,- 65 The Lord of the heavens and the earth and what is between them, the Mighty, the most Forgiving. 66 Say, "It is great news 67 "From which you turn away! 68 (Tell them): “I had no knowledge of the High Council when they were disputing. 69 “I receive only the divine revelations, that I am purely a clear Herald of Warning.” 70 [So mention] when your Lord said to the angels, "Indeed, I am going to create a human being from clay. 71 "When I have fashioned him (in due proportion) and breathed into him of My spirit, fall ye down in obeisance unto him." 72 The angels fell down prostrate, every one, 73 except iblis (satan, the father of the jinn), he became too proud, for he was one of the unbelievers. 74 He said: O Iblis! What hindereth thee from falling prostrate before that which I have created with both My hands? Art thou too proud or art thou of the high exalted? 75 Said he, 'I am better than he; Thou createdst me of fire, and him Thou createdst of clay.' 76 (God) said: "Then go hence, ostracised. 77 And lo! My curse is on thee till the Day of Judgment. 78 He (satan) replied: 'Respite me my Lord till the Day of Resurrection' 79 so He said, "You are granted respite 80 until the day of the known time.' 81 He said, "By Your Honour, I will lead all of them astray, 82 Save Thy single-minded slaves among them. 83 Said Allah, “So this is the truth; and I speak only the truth.” – 84 That I will most certainly fill hell with you and with those among them who follow you, all. 85 Say (O dear Prophet Mohammed – peace and blessings be upon him) “I do not ask any fee from you for the Qur’an, and I am not a fabricator.” 86 "It (this Quran) is only a Reminder for all the 'Alamin (mankind and jinns). 87 and you will most certainly grasp its purport after a lapse of time!" 88
