Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah)
Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
۞ Nay, I swear by the Day of Resurrection; 1 Nay, I swear by the accusing soul (that this Scripture is true). 2 Does man (a disbeliever) think that We shall not assemble his bones? 3 We certainly have the power to restore them even the very tips of their finger. 4 In fact man wishes to commit evil in front of Him! 5 he asks, "When is this Day of Resurrection to be?" 6 but when the sight is dazed 7 and the moon is eclipsed, 8 and the sun and moon are brought together, 9 on that Day the human will ask: 'To (which place) shall I flee' 10 No! There is no refuge. 11 To your Lord, that Day, is the [place of] permanence. 12 Man will be informed that Day of what he sent ahead and kept back. 13 nay, man shall be a clear proof against himself, 14 in spite of all the excuses he may offer. 15 Do not move your tongue with it (the Revelation) to hasten it. 16 Verily upon us is the collecting thereof and the reciting thereof. 17 And when We have recited it to you [O Muhammad SAW through Jibrael (Gabriel)], then follow you its (the Quran's) recital. 18 Again on Us (devolves) the explaining of it. 19 Nay! But you love the present life, 20 and neglect the life to come. 21 [Some] faces, that Day, will be radiant, 22 Looking toward their Lord. 23 and upon that day faces shall be scowling, 24 Fearing that a great disaster is going to befall them. 25 But, when (the soul) reaches the collar bone 26 and it is said: “Is there any enchanter who can step forward and help (by his chanting)?” 27 He will then realise it is the parting, 28 And agony is heaped on agony; 29 On that day, the herding will be only towards your Lord. 30
