Al-A'alaa
The All High (Al-A'alaa)
19 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Rolling (Al-Takweer) before The Night (Al-Layl)
In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful
۞ Magnify the Name of thy Lord the Most High 1 who created all things and gave them due proportions, 2 Who hath ordained laws. And granted guidance; 3 It is He who has caused the grass to grow, 4 Then made it dry and dark. 5 [O Prophet!] We shall make you recite the Quran so that you will not forget any of it -- 6 Except as Allah wills: For He knoweth what is manifest and what is hidden. 7 And We will make it easy for thee (to follow) the simple (Path). 8 So remind, if the reminder should benefit; 9 and he who fears shall remember, 10 but it will be ignored by the most unfortunate, 11 who will roast in the Great Fire, 12 then he shall neither die therein, nor live. 13 Lasting happiness will be for those who purify themselves, 14 and mentions the Name of his Lord, and prays. 15 But no, you prefer the life of the world, 16 Though the life to come is better and abiding. 17 Most surely this is in the earlier scriptures, 18 The Scriptures of Ibrahim (Abraham) and Musa (Moses). 19
