3/4 Hizb 37
< random >
۞ And We revealed to Musa, saying: Go away with My servants travelling by night, surely you will be pursued. 52 Then Pharaoh sent among the cities gatherers 53 (Who said): Lo! these indeed are but a little troop, 54 They are always harassing us. 55 But we are a numerous host, ever on guard." 56 So We made them leave their gardens and springs, 57 Treasures, and every kind of honourable place. 58 As such we gave it to the Children of Israel. 59 At sunrise, they followed them. 60 And when the two parties saw each other, the companions of Musa said: verily we are overtaken. 61 He said: Nay, verily! for lo! my Lord is with me. He will guide me. 62 So We sent the divine revelation to Moosa that, “Strike the sea with your staff”; thereupon the sea parted; so each part was like a huge mountain. 63 We also brought the other party close to the same spot, 64 and We saved Moses and those who were with him together, 65 then We drowned the others. 66 Lo! herein is indeed a portent, yet most of them are not believers. 67 And verily thy Lord! He is the Mighty, the Merciful. 68

قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
