Verily this is a Revelation from the Lord of the Worlds: 192 brought down by the Faithful Spirit 193 Upon your heart (O Muhammad SAW) that you may be (one) of the warners, 194 (a revelation) in clear Arabic language, 195 (a revelation embodied) in the scriptures of the ancients. 196 Was it not a sign for them, that it is known to the learned of the Children of Israel? 197 And if we had revealed it to any of the foreigners 198 And he had recited it to them, and they had not believed (it would have been different). 199 We have thus caused denial of truth to enter into the hearts of the sinners: 200 They will not believe therein until they behold the torment afflictive. 201 The torment will strike them suddenly without their knowledge. 202 they say: "Can we be granted some respite?" 203 Do they wish Us then to hasten the punishment? 204 Did you consider that if We were to let them enjoy life for many years 205 And then the promise that is given to them, does come upon them- 206 what will it then avail them, the enjoyment of days they were given? 207 And We did not destroy any city except that it had warners 208 By way of reminder; and We never are unjust. 209 And it is not the Shayatin (devils) who have brought it (this Quran) down, 210 It is not meet for them, nor is it in their power, 211 Indeed they, from [its] hearing, are removed. 212 Therefore do not worship another deity along with Allah, for you will be punished. 213 Warn your close relatives 214 And be kind to him who follows you of the believers. 215 but if they disobey thee, say: "I am free of responsibility for aught that you may do!" 216 Put thy trust in the All-mighty, the All-compassionate 217 Who seeth thee standing forth (in prayer), 218 And watches your movements among those who prostrate in prayer. 219 Verily! He, only He, is the All-Hearer, the All-Knower. 220 Shall I tell you on whom the Satans come down? 221 They descend on every lying, wicked person, 222 who lends an ear to them, and most of them are liars. 223 And as for the poets [they, too, are prone to deceive themselves: and so, only] those who are lost in grievous error would follow them. 224 Do you not see that they wander about in every valley 225 and preaching what they themselves never practice. 226 Except those who believe, and do good works and remember Allah in abundance and became victorious after they had been wronged. The wrongdoers will surely know which turn they will be returning to (Hell). 227
