Al-Hijjr 2 of 6

We have made constellations in the sky and decorated them for the onlookers. 16 and guarded them from every stoned satan. 17 But he who steals a hearing, so there follows him a visible flame. 18 And the earth-- We have spread it forth and made in it firm mountains and caused to grow in it of every suitable thing. 19 And We have provided therein means of subsistence,- for you and for those for whose sustenance ye are not responsible. 20 There is not a thing but its storehouses are with Us. But We only send down each thing in an appropriate measure: 21 And We have sent the fertilizing winds and sent down water from the sky and given you drink from it. And you are not its retainers. 22 And verily We! it is We who give life and death, and We shall be the survivors. 23 We know those who lived before you and those who will come after you. 24 Your Lord will surely gather them together: Certainly He is all-wise and all-knowing. 25
