Y S (Yaa Seen)
In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
Ya Sin. 1 Consider this Qur'an full of wisdom: 2 Lo! thou art of those sent 3 upon a Straight Path. 4 A revelation of the Mighty, the Merciful. 5 so that you may warn a people who are unaware because their fathers were not warned. 6 The Phrase has become obligatory upon most of them, yet they do not believe. 7 We have put yokes round their necks right up to their chins, so that they cannot bow their heads 8 And We have made before them a barrier and a barrier behind them, then We have covered them over so that they do not see. 9 And it is the same for them, whether you warn them or do not warn them – they will not believe. 10 Thou canst warn only him who followeth the admonition and feareth the Compassionate, unseen. So bear thou unto him the glad tidings of forgiveness and a generous hire. 11 We shall surely bring the dead back to life and We record what they send ahead and what they leave behind. We have recorded everything in a clear book. 12
