Drivers of the Winds (Al-Dhaareyaat)
In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful
By the scatterers (the wind) scattering, 1 And those that bear the burden (of the rain) 2 and those speeding along with ease, 3 Then those (angels who) distribute blessings by Our command; 4 surely what you are being warned against is true, 5 And undoubtedly justice will surely be done. 6 CONSIDER the firmament full of starry paths! 7 Certainly, you have different ideas (about Muhammad SAW and the Quran). 8 Turned aside therefrom is who is turned aside. 9 Woe to the falsehood-mongers,- 10 who are heedless in the immersion. 11 They ask: “When will the Day of Judgement be?” 12 (It is) the day on which they shall be tried at the fire. 13 'Taste your trial! This is that you were seeking to hasten.' 14 As for the God-fearing, they shall be in the midst of gardens and fountains, 15 Taking joy in the things which their Lord has given them. Verily, they were before this Muhsinun (good-doers - see V. 2:112). 16 They used to sleep only a little during the night. 17 And ere the dawning of each day would seek forgiveness, 18 And in their wealth and possessions (was remembered) the right of the (needy,) him who asked, and him who (for some reason) was prevented (from asking). 19 AND ON EARTH there are signs [of God's existence, visible] to all who are endowed with inner certainty, 20 And in your own selves; so can you not perceive? 21 And in heaven is your provision, and that you are promised. 22 By the Lord of the heavens and the earth, this is certainly true even as you speak. 23
