▼ 79 The Snatchers
Al-Naze'aat 2 of 2
(People), is your creation harder for God than that of the heavens, which He created, raised and established 27 high above? 28 and darkened its night and brought forth its morning. 29 And the earth, moreover, hath He extended (to a wide expanse); 30 therefrom brought forth its waters and its pastures, 31 And stabilized the mountains 32 [all this] as a means of sustenance for you and your animals? 33 Then, when the Great Catastrophe comes 34 The day on which man shall recollect what he strove after, 35 And Hellfire will be exposed for [all] those who see - 36 For, unto him who shall have transgressed the bounds of what is right, 37 And had preferred the life of this world, 38 that blazing fire will truly be the goal! 39 But as for him who feared the Station of his Lord and forbade the soul its caprice, 40 shall dwell in Paradise. 41 They ask thee about the Hour,-'When will be its appointed time? 42 What concern do you have to speak about that? 43 Unto thy Lord is the final end of it. 44 You (O Muhammad (Peace be upon him)) are only a warner for those who fear it, 45 It will be, on the Day they see it, as though they had not remained [in the world] except for an afternoon or a morning thereof. 46

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
