Shattering (Al-Infitaar)
Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
۞ When the sky is cleft asunder; 1 when the planets are scattered, 2 When the oceans begin to flow, 3 And when the Graves are turned upside down;- 4 Each soul will know what it had sent ahead and what it had left behind. 5 O Man! What deceived thee as to thy generous Lord 6 Who created thee, then moulded thee, then proportioned thee? 7 in whatever form He pleased? 8 No indeed; (the fact is that) you deny the Reckoning, declaring it a lie; 9 Surely there are guardians over you, 10 noble scribes 11 who know whatever you do. 12 Indeed, the righteous will be in pleasure, 13 The wicked certainly in Hell: 14 [a fire] which they shall enter on Judgment Day, 15 and which they shall not [be able to] evade. 16 And what do you know – of what sort is the Day of Justice! 17 Then, what can make you know what is the Day of Recompense? 18 The day on which no soul will have the authority over any other soul; and on that day, the entire command belongs to Allah. 19
