The Quake (Al-Zalzalah)

8 verses, revealed in Medina after Women (Al-Nesaa) before Iron (Al-Hadeed)

In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful

When the earth is shaken by the shaking thereof, 1 And the earth throws out its burdens, 2 And man saith: What aileth her? 3 On that Day it will relate all her news, 4 Because your Lord has commanded it. 5 Upon that day men shall issue in scatterings to see their works, 6 Whoever has done an atom's weight of good, will see it 7 And whosoever has done even an atom's weight of evil will behold that. 8

True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
