Surely the fruit of the Zaqqum tree 43 Is food for the sinful. 44 Like molten brass, it seetheth in their bellies 45 like the boiling of hot water. 46 [A voice will cry], "Seize him and drag him into the midst of Hell. 47 "Then pour over his head the torment of boiling water, 48 (Saying): Taste! Lo! thou wast forsooth the mighty, the noble! 49 Indeed, this is what you used to dispute." 50 The pious ones will be in a secure place 51 amid gardens and springs, 52 Dressed in fine silk and in rich brocade, they will face each other; 53 Even so; and We shall espouse them to wide-eyed houris, 54 They shall call therein for every fruit in security; 55 They will not taste death therein, save the first death. God will save them from the torment of Hell 56 as a bounty from your Lord. That will be the mighty triumph. 57 So have We made it easy in your tongue that they may be mindful. 58 Wait then (O Muhammad). Lo! they (too) are waiting. 59
