45 verses, revealed in Mecca after Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat) before The Town (Al-Balad)
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful
Qaf. CONSIDER this sublime Qur'an! 1 Nay, but they marvel that a warner has come to them from among them; and the unbelievers say, 'This is a marvellous thing! 2 "What! When we die and become dust, (shall we live again?) That is a (sort of) return far (from our understanding)." 3 (Thus do they imagine, although) We know well what the earth takes away from them. With Us is a Record that preserves everything. 4 Nay, they rejected the truth when it came to them, so they are (now) in a state of confusion. 5 What, have they not beheld heaven above them, how We have built it, and decked it out fair, and it has no cracks? 6 We spread out the earth and set upon it firm mountains, and We cause every delightful thing to grow in it 7 for an insight and a reminder to every penitent servant. 8 And We send down from the sky blessed water whereby We give growth unto gardens and the grain of crops, 9 and tall palm-trees with clusters of dates 10 As sustenance for (Allah's) Servants;- and We give (new) life therewith to land that is dead: Thus will be the Resurrection. 11 Before them, the people of Noah and the people of Rass denied this truth; and so did the people of Thamud. 12 And Ad and Firon and Lut's brethren, 13 The Companions of the Wood, and the People of Tubba'; each one (of them) rejected the messengers, and My warning was duly fulfilled (in them). 14 Were We then weary with the first Creation, that they should be in confused doubt about a new Creation? 15

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
