The All High (Al-A'alaa)
19 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Rolling (Al-Takweer) before The Night (Al-Layl)
In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
۞ Exalt the name of your Lord, the Most High, 1 The One Who created, and then made proper. 2 Who determines and directs, 3 It is He who has caused the grass to grow, 4 And then doth make it (but) swarthy stubble. 5 We shall teach you (the Quran) and you will not forget it 6 Except what Allah pleases, surely He knows the manifest, and what is hidden. 7 And We will make your way smooth to a state of ease. 8 Therefore do remind, surely reminding does profit. 9 He who fears [God] will heed the reminder, 10 But the most hapless will flout it, 11 Who will enter the Great Fire, 12 wherein he will neither die nor remain alive. 13 He indeed hath attained bliss who hath cleansed himself, 14 And glorify the name of their Guardian-Lord, and (lift their hearts) in prayer. 15 But you prefer the worldly life, 16 and the world to come is better, and more enduring. 17 Lo! This is in the former scrolls. 18 the Scriptures of Abraham and Moses. 19
True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
