The Embryo (Al-Alaq)
19 verses, revealed in Mecca. First revelation of the Quran before The Pen (Al-Qalam)
In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful
Read: In the name of thy Lord Who createth, 1 He created man from a clot of blood. 2 Recite: and your Lord is Most Generous, 3 Who taught by the pen, 4 taught Man that he knew not. 5 Yet man behaves arrogantly, 6 because he thinks himself self-sufficient: 7 Lo! unto thy Lord is the return. 8 Have you seen the one who prohibits 9 A slave when he prayeth? 10 What is your opinion if he were upon guidance, 11 He would enjoin piety, so how good it would be! 12 What is your opinion if he denies and turns away, how wretched will be his state! 13 Does he, then, not know that God sees [all]? 14 Let him beware! If he does not desist, We will drag him by the forelock -- 15 his lying, sinful forelock. 16 Then let him summon his council, 17 We shall call the guards of Hell. 18 No, indeed; do not obey him! Prostrate and come nearer (to Allah). ۩ 19
God the Almighty always says the truth.

قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
توجد تمارين تحفيظ للوضعين العربي الأصلي والعربي المخطوط بأحرف إنجليزية فقط. ولا تحتوي الترجمة الإنجليزية على تمارين حفظ.
There are memorization exercises for the original Arabic and English transliterated Arabic modes only. The English translation mode has no memorization exercises.
