The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)

In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate

By (the horses) that charge snorting, 1 sparks of fire striking, 2 And scouring to the raid at dawn 3 And therein raising dust. 4 thereby storming [blindly] into any host! 5 That man is ungrateful to his Lord 6 And indeed, he is to that a witness. 7 And most surely he is tenacious in the love of wealth. 8 ۞ But does he not know that [on the Last Day,] when all that is in the graves is raised and brought out, 9 And that within the breasts is obtained, 10 surely on that day their Lord shall be aware of them! 11

True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
