۞ And We revealed unto Musa saying: go by night with My bondmen verily ye shall be pursued. 52 Then Pharaoh sent among the cities musterers: 53 'These' they said, 'are a small band, 54 And indeed, they are enraging us, 55 seeing that we are, verily, a nation united, fully prepared against danger 56 So We made them leave their gardens and springs, 57 and [deprived them of their erstwhile] station of honour!" 58 Thus it was, but We made the Children of Israel inheritors of such things. 59 But they pursued them at sunrise. 60 And when the two bodies saw each other, the people of Moses said: "We are sure to be overtaken." 61 Moses replied, "No, My Lord is with me, and He will guide me." 62 Thereupon We inspired Moses thus: Strike the sea with thy staff!" - whereupon it parted, and each part appeared like a mountain vast. 63 And We brought near thither the others. 64 And We saved Musa and those with him, all of them. 65 and then We caused the others to drown. 66 Indeed in that is a sign, but most of them were not to be believers. 67 Surely, your Lord is the Almighty, the Most Merciful. 68
