Again (of old) We bestowed Our favour on Moses and Aaron, 114 And saved them and their people from great distress, 115 We succoured them, and they gained the upper hand (against their enemies). 116 And We bestowed the clear Book to both of them. 117 And We guided them both on the right way. 118 and We left them thus to be succeeded by a group [of followers] among later generations: 119 Peace be with Moses and Aaron. 120 Thus indeed do We reward those who do right. 121 Verily! They were two of Our believing slaves. 122 And verily, llyas was one of the sent ones. 123 When he said to his people, “Do you not fear?” 124 Call ye upon Bal and forsake the Best of creators. 125 Allah is your Lord and the Lord of your ancestors of yore.” 126 But they belied him, so they will be among the arraigned (in Hell), 127 Except the chosen bondmen of Allah. 128 And We kept his praise among the latter generations. 129 Peace be upon Ilyas! 130 Verily We! thus We recompense the well-doers. 131 Surely he was one of Our believing servants. 132 AND, BEHOLD, Lot was indeed one of Our message-bearers; 133 We rescued him and his whole family, 134 Except an old woman who was among those who lagged behind: 135 Then We destroyed the others. 136 You pass by them in the morning 137 And by night: will ye not understand? 138
