[O MEN!] Are you more difficult to create than the heaven which He has built? 27 He raised its ceiling and proportioned it. 28 and He has made dark its night and brought forth its light of day. 29 and thereafter spread out the earth, 30 after that bringing forth from it its water and its pasture land, 31 And the mountains He set firmly 32 A provision for you and your cattle. 33 When the great over-whelming event arrives, 34 The day when man will call to mind his (whole) endeavour, 35 And hell will be made visible to all those who can see. 36 So for one who rebelled, 37 and preferred the present life, 38 Then indeed, Hellfire will be [his] refuge. 39 But as for him who feared to stand before his Lord and restrained his soul from lust, 40 Their abode will be the Garden. 41 They ask you: "When will the Hour be? When is its time fixed?" 42 Wherein art thou concerned with the declaration thereof! 43 To your Lord belongs (the knowledge of) the term thereof? 44 You are only a warner to him who would fear it. 45 It will be, on the Day they see it, as though they had not remained [in the world] except for an afternoon or a morning thereof. 46
