And assuredly We settled the Children of Isra'il into a secure settlement, and We provided them with good things; nor they differed until there had come unto them the knowledge. Verily thine Lord shall judge between them on the Day of Resurrection as to that wherein they have been differing. 93 If thou wert in doubt as to what We have revealed unto thee, then ask those who have been reading the Book from before thee: the Truth hath indeed come to thee from thy Lord: so be in no wise of those in doubt. 94 And be not thou of those who belie Allah's signs, lest thou be of the losers. 95 Surely those against whom the word of your Lord has been fulfilled will not believed 96 Even if every Sign was brought unto them,- until they see (for themselves) the penalty grievous. 97 So if only had there been one dwelling* that believed and its belief would have benefited it – except the nation of Yunus (Jonah)! When they accepted faith, We removed the disgraceful punishment in the life of this world from them, and let them enjoy for a while. (* That was destroyed after being warned.) 98 And had your Lord willed, those on earth would have believed - all of them entirely. Then, [O Muhammad], would you compel the people in order that they become believers? 99 And it is not for a soul to believe except by permission of Allah, and He will place defilement upon those who will not use reason. 100 Proclaim, “Observe what is in the heavens and the earth”; and the signs and the Noble Messengers do not benefit the people who are not destined to believe. 101 What do they wait for then but the like of the days of those who passed away before them? Say: Wait then; surely I too am with you of those who wait. 102 Thereafter We delivered Our apostles and those who believed. Even so, as incumbent upon us, We deliver the believers. 103
