1/2 Hizb 45

۞ "Bring ye up", it shall be said, "The wrong-doers and their wives, and the things they worshipped- 22 "Besides Allah, and lead them to the Way to the (Fierce) Fire! 23 "But stop them, verily they are to be questioned. 24 “What is the matter with you, that you do not help one another?” 25 Nay! on that day they shall be submissive. 26 And they will approach one another blaming each other. 27 "It was you who tried to mislead us from righteousness". 28 But they reply: 'Rather, you were not believers. 29 And we had over you no authority, but you were a transgressing people. 30 So the word of our Lord has come into effect upon us; indeed, we will taste [punishment]. 31 "We led you astray: for truly we were ourselves astray." 32 Therefore, on that Day they will all share Our punishment. 33 This is how We deal with the criminals. 34 They were those who, when it was said to them, "There is no god but God," behaved with insolence, 35 and said: 'Are we to renounce our gods for the sake of a mad poet' 36 Nay! he (Muhammad SAW) has come with the truth (i.e. Allah's Religion - Islamic Monotheism and this Quran) and he confirms the Messengers (before him who brought Allah's religion - Islamic Monotheism). 37 Lo! (now) verily ye taste the painful doom - 38 although you shall not be requited for aught but what you were wont to do. 39 But not the chosen servants of Allah. 40 For them is the sustenance known to Us. 41 Fruits; and they will be honored 42 In the Gardens of delight (Paradise), 43 Facing one another on thrones, 44 a cup filled with wine from its springs, will be passed around to them; 45 White, delicious for the drinkers. 46 Neither does it intoxicate, nor give a headache. 47 Theirs shall be wide-eyed maidens with bashful, restrained glances, 48 so delicate as the hidden peel under an egg's shell. 49 And they will approach one another, inquiring of each other. 50 One of them says, 'I had a comrade 51 who used to say: -- Are you also one of those who confirm the Truth (of life after death)? 52 [that] after we have died and become mere dust and bones we shall, forsooth, be brought to judgment?"' 53 He will say: -- Do you wish to know where he is now?' 54 Then, he will look and see him in the midst of Hell. 55 He will say, "By God! You almost brought me to ruin! 56 If it had not been for the blessing of my Lord, I would also have been taken to Hell." 57 What then, shall we not die 58 Saving our former death, and are we not to be punished? 59 Indeed, this is the great attainment. 60 and for the like of this let the workers work. 61 Is that better by way of hospitality or the Zaqqum tree, 62 Indeed, We have made it a torment for the wrongdoers. 63 For it is a tree that springs out of the bottom of Hellfire: 64 and its fruits are like the heads of devils. 65 Truly, they will eat thereof and fill their bellies therewith. 66 And behold, above all this they will be confounded with burning despair! 67 And thereafter verily their return is unto the Flaming Fire. 68 They had found their fathers astray, 69 and [now] they make haste to follow in their footsteps! 70 And certainly most of the ancients went astray before them, 71 although, verily, We had sent warners unto them: 72 Look, then how was the end of those who had been warned, 73 Except the sincere (and devoted) Servants of Allah. 74
