Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah)
40 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Shocker (Al-Qaare'ah) before The Backbiter (Al-Hummazah)
In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful
۞ I swear by the Day of Resurrection 1 No! I swear by the reproachful soul! 2 Does man assume that We will never assemble his bones? 3 Yea, verily. We are Able to restore his very fingers! 4 But man wishes to do wrong (even) in the time in front of him. 5 He asks: "When will the Day of Resurrection be?" 6 but when the sight is dazed 7 And the moon shall be ecliped. 8 And sun and moon are united, 9 upon that day man shall say, 'Whither to flee?' 10 Never so, for there will be no escape. 11 With your Lord alone shall on that day be the place of rest. 12 On that Day will man be apprised of his deeds, both the earlier and the later. 13 In fact, people are well-aware of their own soul 14 even though he might make up excuses. 15 (O Prophet), do not stir your tongue hastily (to commit the Revelation to memory). 16 It is for Us to collect it and to give you (O Muhammad SAW) the ability to recite it (the Quran), 17 Wherefore when We recite it, follow thou the reciting thereof. 18 then it will be for Us to explain it. 19 Nay; the truth is that you love ardently (the good of this world) that can be obtained hastily, 20 And leave (neglect) the Hereafter. 21 Some faces on that Day will be fresh and resplendent, 22 looking up to their Sustainer; 23 And some faces, that Day, will be sad and dismal, 24 Knowing that they will be subjected to a torment that breaks the backs. 25 Nay, when (the soul) reaches to the collar bone (i.e. up to the throat in its exit), 26 and people ask, "Is there any wizard [that could save him]?" 27 and he realises that the hour of parting is come, 28 and is enwrapped in the pangs of death 29 unto thy Lord that Day is the drive. 30

كيف تعمل منظومة تمارين الحفظ؟ عند أدنى مستوى 0، تكون كل الكلمات ظاهرة. بينما يُخفي أعلى مستوى 9 كل الكلمات. فكيف تعمل المستويات المتوسطة، مثل 3، على سبيل المثال؟ قد تعتقد بأن المنظومة تخفي 3 من كل تسع كلمات بدقة. ليس تماما! في المستوى 3، لكل كلمة فرصة اختفاء بنسبة 3 من 9، و6 من 9 لتكون ظاهرة. بمعنى آخر، من الممكن، ولكن باحتمال شبة معدوم، أن تكون جميع كلمات المستوى 3 مخفية، أو أن تكون جميعها ظاهرة! وكذلك أيضًا، ففي المستويات المتوسطة، وبما يتناسب مع مستوى الصعوبة، يمكن أن تكون المخابئ غير كاملة أو شفافة جزئيًا بحيث تظهر الكلمات جزئيًا تحتها.
How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
