(People), is your creation harder for God than that of the heavens, which He created, raised and established 27 High has He reared its vault and formed it in accordance with what it was meant to be; 28 And He made dark its night, and brought forth its sunshine. 29 And after that He spread the earth; 30 and brought out of it its water and its pasture, 31 And the mountains hath He firmly fixed;- 32 an enjoyment for you and your herds. 33 When the great calamity comes, 34 on the Day when man will recall all his strivings, 35 and Hell will be brought in sight for anyone to see: 36 Those who have rebelled 37 and prefers the life of this world, 38 surely Hell shall be the refuge. 39 But as for him who feared the Station of his Lord and forbade the soul its caprice, 40 paradise will truly be the goal! 41 They ask thee about the Hour,-'When will be its appointed time? 42 What concern do you have to speak about that? 43 To your Lord is its finality. 44 You are only a warner to him who would fear it. 45 The Day they see it, (it will be) as if they had not tarried (in this world) except an afternoon or a morning. 46
