Hoarding (Al-Takaathur)

8 verses, revealed in Mecca after Bounty (Al-Kawthar) before Charity (Al-Maa'oon)

In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful

The emulous desire of abundance engrosseth you, 1 Until ye come to the graves. 2 Lo! presently ye shall know. 3 Then no! You are going to know. 4 Yes certainly, if you had believed with certainty, you would not have craved for wealth. 5 Indeed you will see hell. 6 And again, you shall see it with certainty of sight! 7 Then on that day you shall most certainly be questioned about the boons. 8

Allah the Almighty always says the truth.
