And Nuh's people belied the sent ones. 105 When their brother Noah said unto them: Will ye not ward off (evil)? 106 I am for you an honest Messenger, 107 so fear Allah and obey me. 108 And I do not ask you any reward for it; my reward is only with the Lord of the worlds: 109 so fear you God, and obey you me.' 110 ۞ They answered: "Shall we place our faith in thee, even though [only] the most abject [of people] follow thee?" 111 He said: 'I have no knowledge of what they have done. 112 Their account is only with my Lord, if you could perceive 113 It is not for me to repel those who choose to believe. 114 “I am not but clearly a Herald of Warning.” 115 They said, "Noah, if you do not desist, you will, certainly, be stoned to death." 116 He said: 'My Lord, my nation have belied me. 117 Judge among us and save me and the believers with me". 118 And so We saved him and those [who were] with him in the fully-laden ark, 119 and drowned the rest. 120 In this there is evidence (of the truth) but most of them do not have any faith. 121 And lo, thy Lord, He is indeed the Mighty, the Merciful. 122
