Y S (Yaa Seen)
In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful
Ya, Seen. 1 By the Quran, full of wisdom (i.e. full of laws, evidences, and proofs), 2 Most surely you are one of the apostles 3 upon the straight path. 4 This is a revelation sent down from the Majestic and All-merciful 5 That you may warn a people whose forefathers were not warned, so they are unaware. 6 The word has been proved true against the greater part of them: they will not believe. 7 We have bound their necks with fetters up to their chin, so that their heads are raised and cannot be lowered. 8 And We have put a barrier before them, and a barrier behind them, and We have covered them up, so that they cannot see. 9 And it is the same for them, whether you warn them or do not warn them – they will not believe. 10 You only warn he who follows the Remembrance and fears the Merciful in the Unseen. Give to him glad tidings of forgiveness and a generous wage. 11 It is We indeed who bring back the dead to life, and write down what they send ahead (of their deeds), and traces that they leave behind. We keep an account of all things in a lucid register. 12
