Say: 'I am only a warner. There is no god except Allah, the One, the Conqueror, 65 Lord of the heavens and the earth and all that is between them, the Mighty, the Pardoning. 66 Say: 'This is a mighty message 67 (And) you are turning aside from it: 68 I had no knowledge of the exalted chiefs when they contended: 69 "Only this has been inspired to me, that I am a plain warner." 70 (Remember) when your Lord said to the angels: "Truly, I am going to create man from clay". 71 and when I have formed him fully and breathed My spirit into him, prostrate yourselves before him." 72 And the angels did obeisance, all of them, 73 except Iblis who puffed himself up with pride and became a disbeliever. 74 He said: O Iblis! what prevented you that you should do obeisance to him whom I created with My two hands? Are you proud or are you of the exalted ones? 75 [Iblis (Satan)] said: "I am better than he, You created me from fire, and You created him from clay." 76 He said, “Therefore exit from heaven, for you have been outcast.” (To disrespect the Prophets – peace and blessings be upon them – is blasphemy.) 77 My condemnation will be with you until the Day of Judgment!" 78 He (satan) replied: 'Respite me my Lord till the Day of Resurrection' 79 (God) said: "You have the respite 80 till the Appointed Day." 81 He said: by Thy majesty, then, I shall surely seduce them, all. 82 except those of Your servants, the chosen ones from amongst them.” 83 (Allah) said: "Then it is just and fitting- and I say what is just and fitting- 84 Most certainly will I fill hell with thee and such of them as shall follow thee, all together!" 85 Say: 'I ask of you no wage for it, neither am I of those who take things upon themselves. 86 This [divine writ,] behold, is no less than a reminder to all the worlds — 87 And ye shall surely come to know the truth thereof after a season. 88
